Have had the heaviest snowfall for 18 years so decided to mark the occasion with some pics of snowflakes. First time photographing them.

I've always loved the delicate snowflakes. It's incredible the different ways liquids crystallize.
You made a wonderful work here and the black background helps us see perfectly the beautiful shape of this snowflake :)

Amazing. Like with all of your work you have produced remarkable precision here -I guess that comes with being a well accomplished macro photographer though :) What i love the most about this photo is that you've separated the flake without taking it out of context. I really like this as an art shot and as a technical shot. Love to see more like this!

I've always loved studying snowflakes in a nice powdery flurry. I've wanted to photograph them, but I've never had a good enough lens. Remarkable work. Thank you for sharing!
